Twenty years ago brands were untouchable. Now they’re your friends on Facebook. (via @mirza on twitter)
Sorry about the radio silence on Tumblr lately but the radio silence will continue for a while. I just got done with surgery today and taking things slow the next few days to rest & recover. Have a good day.

The following are the answers to the Ask Me Anything series. Keep asking more and I’ll answer.

Favorite Marketing Campaign (asked by jetallacksen)
Advertisement inside Public Transportation or in Bathroom Stalls. I find this to be an ingenious place to mart yourself because there’s nothing else seeking your attention and I find myself reading them all the time. I also Geico’s ad campaigns usually just cause they are funny.
Why Are People So Cruel? (asked by Anonymous)
Human Nature. You need to taste something bitter in order to know what sweet tastes like. I don’t think it’s ever possible for someone to be completely good. Thus there are people who do bad things that hurt others. Do I think it’s a good thing that people are cruel? No but that’s life and life can be pretty unfair sometimes.
Do you like Verdic Astrology or Western Astrology? (asked by culture-b)
Neither to be honest. I was never a fan of astrology and I don’t really know the difference between them (if you do know the difference, shoot me an email). Sometimes I’ll check my horoscope if the free Daily Collegians lying around and I have nothing else to do but that’s the extent of my interest in astrology
Note To Self: Don’t ever spend more then 5 days in Texas or the South for that matter. It’ll drive you insane.
How to Get Rid Of Expose’s Blue Border in Show Leopard?
If you have just upgraded to Snow Leopard, you might have noticed that the Expose in Snow Leopard, displays a hideous blue border when you hover/highlight on top of a window.
While as of right now, there isn’t a way to change the color manually. You can change the border to transparent.
Here’s how to do so?
1. Grab this zip file. Copy these two files - expose-window-selection-big.png” and “expose-window-selection-small.png”
2. Go to Macintosh Hd/System/Library/Core Services
3. Right click the Dock.app and click Show Package Contents
4. Go on the Contents Folder and then the Resources Folder![]()
5. Find the two files named “expose-window-selection-big.png” and “expose-window-selection-small.png”. Copy them somewhere else to keep as a backup just in case you want to revert to the blue border.
6. Paste the files you copied in Step 1.
7. Restart your Mac.
8. If you followed all the steps correctly, you should now have the a transparent border when you hover over objects in expose.

Introducing LittleSnapper 1.5 and Ember
The people over at Realmac Software released an update to the LittleSnapper service (which is by far the best screenshot service on the mac). The downside to this is that they released a newer version of QuickSnapper (the photo-sharing companinion of LittleSnapper) called Ember. It is annoying cause now all of a sudden it’s a pay service and the price of unlimited uploads is the same as a flickr pro account. So it’s pretty much not worth it.
Update: Ember seems to be offline due to server issues. It does have a wicked nice logo though
My new Macbook Pro finally arrived. Probably not a good idea to get a new computer now due to the current economy and everything, but always wanted one. So bought one anyways. Hopefully it’ll all work out like it’s supposed to.
